In support of the good policies of Lagos State, a group known as Sanwo-Olu Queens paid a courtesy visit to Modupe Cole Orphanage Home in Akoka area, of Lagos State.
The February 14th visit was necessitated by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s kind gesture to give back to the society and also to show love to the less privilege.
The visit which took place on the Sunday, February 14, was to give succor to the children at the orphanage and put smile on their faces.
According to the coordinator of the group, Jasanya Adetutu Bolaji, food items; toiletries; snacks; drugs; beverages and clothes of different sizes were packaged to put smiles on the faces of children and aged at the orphanage home, which has been in existence since October 1960.
Jasanya, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Avatar Communications, organisers of the courtesy visit, said the gesture is to give back to the society where they live.
Other members of the visiting team are, CEO LiRA Foundation, Lijiri Ruth, Shakirat Sunmola, Luqman Adekunle Akanni, councilorship candidate, Ward G Bariga LCDA and Maxwell Omoh, a member of the caretaker committee and Deputy Youth Leader, APC Ward E Bariga LCDA.
